| About Crime Victims Council |

Founded in 1973, Crime Victims Council
of the Lehigh Valley is a private, non-profit 501 (c) 3
community-based organization. All services are confidential and
provided at no cost. Services are possible due to the financial
support of federal, state and local grants and contracts, United Way
of the Greater Lehigh Valley, corporations, foundations, and private
donations. All contributions are tax deductable to the extent
provided by law.
MISSION STATEMENT:
Crime Victims Council of the Lehigh Valley is dedicated to:
Providing confidential services at no cost to the people of Lehigh
and Northampton Counties whose lives have been directly affected by
crime;
Advocating for the rights, welfare and empowerment of all victims of
crime and;
Developing resources for individual and community education
regarding crime victimization and prevention.
In furtherance of our mission, the following values guide our
actions:

Cooperation and collaboration with those who share our goals;
Integrity in our relationships with those we serve and with whom we
collaborate;
Foster,
respect and protect the individuals’ right to make their own
decisions regarding their victimization;
